Afternoon walk at Anstead Park, west of Brisbane. Overlooking the Brisbane River.

Hand rubbed black stained oak. Hand rubbed stains leave the grain showing through with much greater definition that a sprayed stain. The oak has lovely sheen to it.

Finally made it to the shop. The legs are angled in towards the centre at the top, it doesn’t show very well in the photo. I like the black fleck through the timber, something I haven’t seen in Jarrah before.
